Shauna's Wedding - San Diego


THE Dancing Queen!: Natalie was the hit of the dance floor! Shazamm~!The reception took place in the Don Room at the historic El Cortez. El Cortez opened on Thanksgiving Day 1927, nestled atop San Diego 's Cortez Hill. The Don Room has since been carefully restored and remains one of the most exquisitely designed rooms in the state of California.Since 1927 Presidents from Dwight D. Eisenhower and John F. Kennedy to William Jefferson Clinton regaled in the 24k Don Room. Today influential events include San Diego Magazine's "50 People to watch" and praiseworthy “Charitable Events Registry Awards". Daily, the Don Room at El Cortez serves as host to numerous corporate events, fundraising functions, and television and movie projects.

El Cortez has been San Diego's leading landmark since it's first grand opening. Its colorful past is vivid in the minds of all native San Diegans.
