Last Laugh

Brian likes to tease. Really he does.

For YEARS now he tells people for my birthday that he takes me to the store, picks out a card, lets me read it and then puts it back. No fanfare....

That's what he tells people....
in REALITY...
yeah, entirely different story.

But cards and flowers aren't usually his thing.

So this year...for his birthday --- I went to the store,
took a picture of two cards, ...TEXTED him the picture,

wished him a Happy Birthday.....and asked him to pick up some Milk on the way home from work!

I think he appreciated the lack
of FANFARE!!!

And he did!

So sweet. Kim and I did a similar thing in Tampa Florida Mall; both of us in tears. I thought it would make a great Hallmark commercial.
They have a place on their site to submit ideas; however, alas they wrote me back and rudely told me that they had creators and did want want any ideas from other people.
We still love our special Hallmark moment.

my happiness!

“You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep a record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences.” ~Pres. Gordon B. Hinckley
