Fish Lake 2009

You can imagine how many of the 7 hundred 93
yes 793 pictures
it took to get this shot.

At least 20....only one turned out.
I will save the details for another post.

We just returned from Heaven on Earth...
otherwise known as Fish Lake.

Anyone who knows our family
knows that we give up a lot of other
things to have time in Fish Lake
every year.

Sam is trying to get settled for the long drive.
How hard to not have a sister in the car
to pick on...
and borrow
video games from.

Took away all the fun
of the drive!!!

dinner at the Lodge

night fishing

that would be 3 AM

...and worth it!

half the fun is getting there....

...almost...

Some things never change.
Remember this post from 080808!
"Don't Underjudge Me!"

The always refreshing water hole!

We had a great four days...there was a lot
to do, a lot we couldn't do,
but everything was as it should be...

[including the teenager
being bugged to have to be in
ONE MORE PICTURE]

yes...

Short but Sweet!

The fish look so big and sweet, well except for the one photo. Love Fish Lake and all the memories. Some of those memories are good and so not so good; however, they are all part of my life; which is a very good life.
I love the memories that your are making...

We loved being the only people (crazy enough to be) fishing at midnight. We had the whole lake all to ourselves, but wished that you all were there. Kevin really missed Gavin during that time. I am not even going to tell him about the 17 fish...he was happy with 3.
Great photos and great memories!

my happiness!

“You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep a record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences.” ~Pres. Gordon B. Hinckley
