"...FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE"

Jer: Mom, did you vote yet?

Me: Yes.

Jer: Who did you vote for?

Gavin interjects: She voted for Obama.
(Which I did not disclose, nor will I here.
Gavin's 14, he thinks he knows everything.
I don't even have to talk these days and
he goes on with our conversations; awfully fun.)

Jer: Oh my, Mom, Do you realize that I am now
not talking to you for the REST OF MY LIFE!???
I am so appalled.

Well, that's was interesting!
When did kids his age start to care so much about elections!
(Still not telling.)

“You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep a record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences.” ~Pres. Gordon B. Hinckley
