Hey thanks Suzie and Aunt Liz...it was fun to make it for him. He is still so proud of his Arrow of Light. And Sam can't wait to earn his.

The uniform...I am SOOO glad I don't have to wear it any more, but I do miss serving with the kids.

The uniform...Brian hated that I had pins on it...the I LOVE BRIAN heart pin...you can see it in some of the pictures.

Then...on my left shoulder, which you can't see, it says UNTRAINABLE...leaders are suppose to be trained and wear the TRAINED patch...I found an UNTRAINABLE, and wore that. It was pretty fun, and I got a lot of trouble for it...but hey..I am, I was just being honest about it.

Hugs to you...okay...I HAVE to get writing my paper for school...

I hate how school gets in the way of my blogging. Oh well.

OMgosh...As I look at those pictures and see all the ARM bands Gavin is wearing I remember that he gave Grandma the WHITE FAITH arm band that night. She loved it, because she could wear it in the temple, and she was buried with that bracelet. It was the only jewelry that wasn't removed. I remember Grandpa saying that he tried to find it after she passed away and he couldn't, and in the pictures you can see it on her arm. He said he remembered taking it off, but there it was...

hmmmm,...what a weird flash of thought that was.

I bought all the kids a faith bracelet, it is the only one of the young women values you can buy right now. Gavin wore those so proudly.

I remember him saying that if the girls had to live by those standards why were the boys not being taught that. He wore them so PROUD, and didn't care that they were for girls. It was awesome and really changed his thinking to be so thoughtful of the girls...I hope it sticks with him.

Anyhow, I know wear the bracelet as well...and if you would like one...I will send one to you.

Hugs.

my happiness!

“You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep a record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences.” ~Pres. Gordon B.
