I thought that sharing the FREEZING WEATHER
we have would be just delightful.
Oh yes, a bit o sarcasm, to go with it.
You get the lovely warm, wear shorts, take hikes, weather
We get put on your snow boots, do you have your mittens,
freeze some irrelevant material weather.

we got hit yesterday. Kjel said it was a good 8 inches. He spent a couple hours outside with the kids digging out. It actually looks really pretty today. I think it's because I know the sun is shining and Spring is on it's way.
Brr!!! I had to turn on my space heater under my desk after seeing those snowy pics. It looks beautiful and breathtakingly cold. What a HUGE difference six hundred and fifty two miles makes!

LeShel, I cant even IMAGINE that much snow...we don't get it like that very often. It does sound beautiful, but not like SPRING, and NOT WARM...Maybe this is visual rhetoric to say that there is BLIZZARD UCKY MESSY COLD before the true spring...of being through our trials, and into serenity.
Suzie, HE HE, If I can send some of the cold your way MORE POWER TO ME. I giggle at you shivering. Remember this on those brutal hot days you have ahead, just pull up this post, and shriver.
As for my kids, 50/50, for sure glass half full, half empty, Aunt Liz, some of the love it, others hate it and can't wait to move into the warmth of Spring and SUMMER. YEAH! Me, love the snow, when it is white and crisp and new, hate HATE the COLD...love spring, and all the flowers, and the fruit blossems. Summer I am happiest, my kids are home with me, and Fall, is beautiful, my world becomes a view to be painted, picturesque. Love...yet, somehow sad now.

I don't miss it... I should, but I'm loving the nice weather here. When it gets to be 115 for 30 days in a row, then I'll be the one who is complaining and asking for the snow.
Okay, I LOVE the beautiful WHITE snow. I just hate the brown/black snow and especially the COLD!
I agree...the ucky leftovers MUST be thrown out. It is not as pretty when pollution and car emissions contaminate it. Beautiful WHITE snow doesn't last long enough. Why do people have to go out? Can't the WHOLE world shut down until it melts...or at least until we get our sledding in...

I hate the cold. But I do think all the snow is pretty. I never ceased to find it beautiful and interesting the way it piles on top of everything.
