HEAR YE HEAR YE!

I have come home to some NEWS!!!

1) The cat wakes up at night, EVERY NIGHT, and has to be let out.

...really, I suppose that is news since I
am ALWAYS the one to get up
and let her out.
Brian told me
as if it would be NEWS to me.
SMILE.

2) The floor doesn't sweep itself.

I asked Brian if there was something he really
noticed that I do and missed while I was away.

He replied that the floor really DOES get dirty.
SMILE.

[quick sidenote:
A clean floor is my nemesis.
Like the goddess of Rhamnous,
I like to have what is due...
The floor is a daily routine for me,
rain or shine,
snow or sleet...

I was flattered that Brian would notice...
and as I lingered in his arms this morning,
I knew that I was Home,
...no question in my heart,
he missed me
for more than a clean floor!]

3) The Hamsters the kids got for Christmas are opposite sex.
...we have a boy and a girl...

...looks like we might
have hamster babies in the works!!!
not so much SMILING on this one.

4) Last...and best of ALL.
Sam and Alyssa
made the School Play.

Auditions were before Christmas break.
They are both REALLY excited!!!!

CONGRATS...and SMILES all around!!!!

Remember this from last year?

Saturday NIGHT SAM!!!

FLASHBACK TO 2009
Announcer: So...What if...What if your options were endless...lets say, you had no limits...no boundaries...
and you TRULY believed in the part of you
that says "I CAN"
and you freely let go
of that little voice that says

"I CANT"

Then...WHAT COULD YOU IMAGINE?

Hmmmm, just a thought.

Oh, and by the way,
Have you noticed you own wings yet?

HAPPY CONGRATS!

2009: "...on to next year..."

hAPPY nEWS IN THE nEW yEAR!

Congratulations in order to Sam and Alyssa.
They worked hard last year...and it paid off.

I look forward to what the play will bring this year....it will be NEW, it will be EXCITING, and as they work hard it will INSTILL something in my children that I could not impress on my own.

I love the opportunity they will have to work with Gary Stoddard again, and the growth that will come from this amazing opportunity!

YEAH for the school PLAY!
[dates coming soon!]

It's 2010, and I have to admit among all the doom and gloom of cold January I am excited at the prospects this New Year will offer.

...Bring it, I say...let the games begin!

“You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep a record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences.” ~Pres. Gordon B. Hinckley
