jUST bECAUSE...

THERE ARE WORSE PICTURES OUT THERE...

And I know Suzie will resort to using them.... I'M BACK!!!!

...and instead of napping the morning away before showing up for class
unprepared I am blogging a sample of our week....

I am so glad to be back HOME...HOME SWEET HOME...

Seriously.

I loved the Cayman Islands and used part of our relentless 13 hours of flying what took us 6 hours to get there planning our next trip. Did I say NEXT trip??? Yes, ...and it won't be soon enough.

Only this time we will take the kids, and hopefully before that Island gets rules and real airports, and such.

Really, there are few rules, no problems, and just serious trouble to be had. I had a BLAST, and brought home a completely different husband.

He learned how to throw all caution to the wind, and handle sitting on
the beach, drive on the left, and panning natives for information.

He even got one to climb a coconut tree, hack it open and share the
splendor of drinking coconut water to start your day. "No tips mon, no problems, for you, you just enjoy."

Yes, a very real oddity for Brian. So, out of 741 pictures...here is just the beginning....

Okay that completely sufficed me!!!

Woweee!!!

What beauty, and I am not just talking about the scenery. You are so beautiful in your teensy-weensy polka-dot bikini!

You are Brian are absolutely adorable together. It looks like he was taking advantage of SPF. My eyes were blinded by his whiteness, my goodness!
Mostly kidding about that...

Anyway, I am still not jealous, just totally happy for you...isn't that weird, I am usually so good about being jealous, but no, just wanting to know about all your adventures.

Holy Stingray Batman!

Of course I want to see all 741 pictures also I want to be a stowaway on your next trip. No rules, sounds like paradise.

Brian, throwing caution to the wind, I will have to see that for myself.

I want every single little detail!

Amen to Suzie's above post!

I though stingrays where not to be touched (?)

Glad you are home!

741 beautiful photos! AWE, I can't wait.

Love you,
Auntiemom

There are some similarities between Brian and Kim:
1. Fully dressed walking on the beach.
2. Give us sun glasses to protect our eyes from their white bodies. Though Kim is much whiter..
3. Using PSF 45+
4. Probably would not see Kim touch a sting-ray, but I would.
In Hawaii, he brought back in from my snorkeling distance, afraid the sharks were going to get me.
I so could live on a beach, snorkel every day and live in the sun. Just need drinks and no food; a new body would be nice...

You know in 10th grade I was voted; "Most likely to become a beach bum". Ha ha ha, that was something that offended me at the time, however, I was always at the beach! My life has not been the same since I moved away from the beach and it's lifestyle. Nothing compares to lying on the sand listening to the waves crash on the shore, that totally curls my toes just thinking about it!

So I have a plan, let's all forget about life and all it's responsibilities and become beach bums! Whose with me???

By the way, I have 6 days to figure out how I am going to make it to the beach this weekend while I am in California for less than 24 hours...

Love the pictures, love the details. Can't wait to love more!!
I'm thinking if it changed Brian that much I'll have to take Kjel and see what magic it can work on him.

I agree. Take Kjel. Actually can we all just plan a girls trip out there sometime....bring the boys to fan us. I am thinking that sounds delightful. Liz, Suzanne, LeShel....Whose with me??? ...anyone else...

The stingrays. They said they were tame, but IDK, I mean...the 6000 foot drop off was right close by....and I am sure the sharks aren't tame...

I really wasn't thinking much about the safety...so mesmerized by the beauty, the sun, the beautiful boys with their beautiful accents coaxing me into the water....just a litte further mom...I was in for it all.

Brian was almost thrown over the reef....that was a bit scary...but, hey, we learned ALOT, so next time....Cayman watch out!!!

Suzie...I hope you make it to the beach...I know you can do it. Remember San Diego...wait...you remember all to well.

PS I was thinking that I could give you the days events...one day at a time...so stay tuned!

I am totally IN with you, Suzie!

Stacie, a total girl's trip to the Cayman Islands "YES". Are these boys to fan us the white ones or the local and tanned ones...

suzie said...

My vote is for the local boys!

Liz said...

Okay so typo..
Kim goes for SPF 45+ not PSF (don't even know what that is).

Liz said...

Let's go with the local boys. I'll work really hard to get a new body, or my old body back. Oh yeah, I am OLD so what will they care either way. I care though, so were is the local fat farm I can go away to for a month?

24 hours in California, I am sure you can do it. RUN, RUN, RUN...

I had no idea that you went on a trip. Was this for business, pleasure or both? What made you decide to pick Cayman Islands? Who watched the kids? Jared and I are planning to go to Europe May 2. I haven't ever been out of the country. A little bit nervous when I start thinking about it. It looks like you had a blast!
