The Sally Bytheway Chorale, founded in March 2005, includes former members of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, the Eleanor Kennard Chorale, and Lex De Azevedo's Millennium Choir. In only two years it grew from 25 members to its current size of over 90 talented singers. The chorale performs a variety of styles, including jazz, contemporary, patriotic, gospel and sacred music.
The chorale has been invited to perform at the Assembly Hall on Temple Square in Salt Lake City, and was selected to perform in the 2007 Winter Festival Concert on Temple Square. It has performed in the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, and to standing room only audiences at the Waterford School concert hall. In 2011, the chorale was named Best of State in the Vocal Group category, and also won the Choice in Community Award from Utah's 2011 Entertainment and Choice Awards.
